                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TEMPORARY
                   CLOSURE OF CERTAIN STREETS IN THE NORTH
                   CHATTANOOGA AND DOWNTOWN AREAS, MORE
                   PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED HEREIN, ON THURSDAY,
                   MAY 27, 1993 FROM 6:30 P.M. TO 9:00 P.M. FOR
                   "THE 3RD ANNUAL BRIDGE RUN" SPONSORED BY THE
                   SPORTS BARN, UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS.
                  
                   
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized 
the
       temporary closing of the northbound curb lane of Market Street
       between 7th Street and Frazier Avenue, the eastbound curb lane of 

       Frazier Avenue between Market Street and the Walnut Street 
Bridge,
       southbound Walnut Street between 1st Street and 4th Street, the
       right-hand curb lane of 7th Street between Walnut Street and
       Market Street on Thursday, May 27, 1993 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00
       p.m. for the presentation of "The 3rd Annual Bridge Run" under 
the
       sponsorship of the Sports Barn.  The sponsors are responsible for 

       the installation and removal of all traffic control devices (such 

       as traffic cones, barricades, signs, etc.) in accordance with the 

       traffic control plan attached hereto and shall provide an access
       lane for emergency vehicles at all times.
